An 8-year-old boy is among two people killed in Russian attacks on the province Zaporizhiain the southeast Ukrainewhile a third died in a rocket attack on the city Dniprothe regional governors said.

Two people were also injured in Zaporizhia, according to a Telegram post by the governor of that province, Ivan Fedorov. One of the injured is a 12-year-old girl who is being treated in the intensive care unit.

Yesterday, there were 313 attacks and bombings against 11 areas, resulting in the damage of many buildings in Zaporizhzhya province, Fedorov added. Among these attacks was a missile strike against the city of the same name.

Late yesterday, Monday, Russian forces also fired missiles at the city of Dnipro, in central Ukraine, killing one person and injuring three others, while homes were damaged, according to Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhii Lysak.

In the meantime, the Ukrainian Air Force, in a statement on Telegram, said that during the night it shot down 27 of the 35 drones launched by Russia. He also added that Russian forces used three ballistic missiles and one cruise missile against Ukraine.
