Fortunately, there was no casualty from the fire, but the effect of the blaze was revealed when the fire was extinguished. Firefighters said the fire was particularly difficult to bring under control, as part of the building and especially the roof had collapsed inside.
The Peaky Blinders filmed a large percentage of their scenes in Yorkshire, capturing the dirty neighborhoods of post-1919 Birmingham.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said nobody had been hurt in the fire. They described dealing with the blaze as “challenging”.

Dalton Mills was built in 1869 by Joseph Craven, replacing a mill that had been in place for almost a century. It was once Yorkshire’s largest textile factory and employed more than 2,000 workers.
Several series and movies have been shot in its dazzling interior, including “The Great Train Robbery”, “Gunpowder”, “Peaky Blinders” and “Downton Abbey”, as well as a large production studio that allows crews from Leeds, Bradford , Manchester and London to take advantage of it.
