Hamas’ health authority in Gaza today released a list of the names of nearly 35,000 Palestinians who have been killed since Israel launched its military operation in the Gaza Strip last October.

In this list of 649 pages, a total of 34,344 dead are named. The list includes people who had been killed by the end of August, without distinguishing between combatants and civilians.

The first 14 pages of the list concern 710 victims under the age of one.

A total of 11,355 children and adolescents under the age of 18 are included in this list, while the oldest recorded victims are two men aged 100 and 101.

According to the latest count by the health authority in Gaza, more than 41,200 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict.

Today alone, at least 18 people have been killed and many injured in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.

Israel announced last month that it had killed more than 17,000 terrorists in this coastal enclave.

These numbers cannot be confirmed by an independent source, notes the German Agency.

The war in Gaza was sparked by the unprecedented attacks on October 7 by the Palestinian militant group Hamas and other extremists.

About 1,200 people were killed in Israel and 250 hostages were taken to Gaza.

Israel’s military response drew massive international criticism due to the many casualties among the civilian population and the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
