The Ministry of Health of Lebanon spoke today about three dead in separate Israeli strikes in the southern part of the country, with Israel confirming that it targeted positions of Hezbollah.

In three different press releases, the ministry said that three people were killed in three villages in southern Lebanonattributing each death to a “strike by the Israeli enemy.”

The Islamist organization Hezbollah announced that two of its fighters were killed, without specifying in which area.

The pro-Iranian group said it had launched “explosive drones” at two troop positions in northern Israel, confirming it had acted “in response” to Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.

earlier today, Hezbollah said it fired dozens of rockets against military production facilities and an air base near the Israeli city of Haifa.

For its part, the Israeli military announced that a barrage of 150 rockets, cruise missiles and drones were fired towards its territory overnight, with the majority of them coming from Lebanon and targeting northern Israel.
