That Lebanese Ministry of Health spoke today about three dead in separate Israeli strikes in the southern part of the country, with Israel confirming that it targeted Hezbollah positions.

In three separate press releases, the ministry said three people were killed in three villages in southern Lebanon, attributing each death to a “strike by the Israeli enemy”.

The Islamist organization Hezbollah announced that two of its fighters had been killed, without specifying in which area.

The pro-Iranian group said it launched “explosive drones” at two positions where troops were stationed in northern Israel, confirming it acted “in response” to Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.

Earlier today, Hezbollah said it fired dozens of rockets at military production facilities and an air base near the Israeli city of Haifa.

For its part, the Israeli military announced that a barrage of 150 rockets, cruise missiles and drones were fired towards its territory overnight, with the majority of them coming from Lebanon and targeting northern Israel.
