The Lebanese prime minister asked “the UN and the General Assembly as well as influential countries (…) to prevent the attack”
The Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati alleged that Israel has drawn up a “plan to destroy” the countrywhile the Israeli army announced that so far today it has hit more than 300 Hezbollah positions.
“The ongoing Israeli attack on Lebanon it is a war of extermination in all respects, a plan of destruction aimed at eliminating Lebanese countries and cities,” Mikati said in a statement.
The Lebanese Prime Minister he also asked “the UN and the General Assembly as well as from the influential countries (…) to prevent the attack”.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health of Lebanon asked the hospitals located in the southern and eastern parts of the country to suspend all non-emergency operations in order to be able to receive the wounded from the heavy Israeli strikes.
The ministry “requests all hospitals” in southern and eastern Lebanon to “suspend all non-emergency surgery” in order to “provide care to the wounded from the Israeli attack on Lebanon.”
For its part, the Israeli army announced that so far today it has hit more than 300 Hezbollah positions in Lebanon.
“More than 300 Hezbollah positions have been hit” since this morning, he said in a statement. Earlier he had stated that from 06:30 to 07:30 in the morning (local and Greek time) he fired about 150 shots.
