Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his expectations for the “next day” of the US election with reference to the F-35 issue.
According to the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manoli Kostidithe Turkish President, emphasized that he hopes “the one who will come will not make us miss his predecessor“, explaining that in America, the issue of the F-35 “was not only experienced during the period of Mr. Donald Trump, but it continued afterwards”.
“All of them made us experience this disappointment“, he summed up by stating that he expects what will happen next, being dissatisfied with both the attitude of Republicans and Democrats as a whole, in the previous period.
“We have a claim of 1 billion 450 million dollars. It’s not a small number. Now, we will continue to take steps to collect this claim. With all this, what will the result of the November election bring? We have to see that too. I hope that as a result of this work, we will re-balance the relations between Turkey and the US accordingly. We will take our steps accordingly.
