THE Florida resident Pedro Casares he did everything to save his home from the devastating passage of Hurricane Milton. For this reason he thought of a crazy idea, to tie it.

The image with the huge straps went viral. Specifically, according to the Mirror, Casares nailed metal hooks into the ground and used large plastic straps attached to the ground hooks.

The specially designed straps and hooks, which cost him $22,000, were installed around the roof of the family’s home.

To update her fans on the state of the house, Casares’ daughter, TikTok user SimplyUniqueSmiles93, gave viewers a much-anticipated tour of the property.

“Fortunately we are fine. There are many affected areas near our house,” said Casares’ daughter, “The house is intact. Not a single brick or tile has been lifted from the roof. Everything is fine. We’re not going to take off the straps until the hurricane is over!” he said.

@simplyuniquesmiles93 We made it through our second Hurricane and we are blessed to have no crazy damages to rhe home. My prayers still continue to those heavily affected during this time. Me and my dad are about to drive to see if anyone needs help🙏🫶🏼🏠#HurricaneMilton#CentralFL#Orlando#FLhomegoesviral#homestrappeddown#homedepot#lowes#USCC#cargocontrolstraps#acehardware#CNN#wash2news#spectrumnews#telemundo#univision#dailymail #abcnews#ukradiostation ♬ Inspirational – neozilla
