Barack Obama First Criticized Donald Trump’s Rhetoric, Then “Given” Some Rap At Detroit Rally – Eminem On Stage
There are two weeks left for the US election and the election fever is constantly increasing. Once again in his speech this time at Detroit the former US president, Barack Obama warned the assembled crowd not to vote for an older – and “dumber” Donald Trump while not shying away from… rapping as he shared the stage with rapper Eminem.
Barack Obama initially criticized the rhetoric of Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance on immigration, saying: “That’s what it’s all about – blame the immigrants.”
“He wants you to believe that if you let him pick up whoever he wants and deport them, all your problems will be solved,” Obama continues.
Obama says immigration is a real issue and needs solutions.
“He doesn’t have a plan, he has ‘thoughts of a plan,’ and it’s mean and ugly, designed to make people resentful and angry,” Obama said.
The former president’s speech even included a bit of rap, on stage singing Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ for a few seconds.

Eminem then took the stage and in turn criticized Trump. “I don’t think anyone wants an America where people worry about retaliation or what people will do if you speak your mind. I think Vice President Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and many others are protected and respected.”
Michigan is one of the swing states that could decide the outcome of the presidential primary scheduled for November 5.
I love being back in Michigan.
There’s a lot at stake in this election, but one thing is clear: @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz are ready to lead our country forward and deliver for the American people. But that can only happen if we all vote.
So vote early by mail, in person or on… pic.twitter.com/NTsPXAM7Qc
