Johnson denounces the “immoral” attack on the children’s hospital in Mariupol

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson described today as “immoral” the bombing of a children’s hospital in Mariupolin the southeast Ukrainewhich left 17 injured by hospital staff, according to a regional official.

“There are few things more immoral than targeting the vulnerable and defenseless,” Boris Johnson said in a Twitter post about the Russian attack on the hospital.

“The United Kingdom is studying how to better support Ukraine in defending itself against air strikes, and we will hold Putin accountable for his heinous crimes,” he said.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said today that he intended to continue delivering anti-tank missiles to Ukraine after the Russian invasion, as part of the country’s defense support.

About 3,615 NLAWs (portable anti-tank missiles) have been delivered “to date” and the UK will deliver “more”, he said, adding that a “small shipment” of Javelin anti-tank missiles was also planned.
