“Climate change is killing the earth and destroying our economy, we need a bold plan to save our economy, our planet and ourselves,” the famous actor says in the clip. “This is why I’m voting for Kamala Harris.”

It is noted that DiCaprio’s commitment to environmental protection is also known through the foundation “Leonardo DiCaprio Institute” which he founded in 1998 has funded many environmental actions and initiatives.
Captioning the post, the star called the recent devastation from Hurricanes Helene and Milton “unnatural, caused by climate change.” He then praised Harris’ ambitious goals of achieving net zero emissions by 2050 and developing a green economy.
Notably, as vice president, Harris cast the tie-breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act, President Joe Biden’s landmark climate law, which passed only with Democratic support.
THE actress accused Trump for the US withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement and the repeal of “critical environmental measures”. As he said, Trump continues to “deny the facts” and “the science.”
“We need leaders who are ready to enact climate policies that will help save the planet, and that’s why I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris on November 5,” he added.
As the AP reports, a few days before the election, Harris has received support from a number of high-profile celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Rock, Beyonce and George Clooney.
