THE King Felipe ST‘ of Spain faced angry protesters during his visit to the Valencia region, which has been hit by unprecedented flooding.

Footage shows the angry crowd chanting “murderer” and “shame” to the king, who was also asked why nothing had been done to prevent the tragedy.

Spain’s worst floods in decades have left entire neighborhoods covered in mud and littered with overturned cars and debris.

More than 200 people were killed in the floodswhile many others are unknown. Emergency workers continue to comb underground parking lots and tunnels in hopes of finding survivors and recovering bodies.

There was anger over the perceived lack of warning and inadequate support from the authorities after the floods.

On Saturday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez ordered an additional 10,000 soldiers, police and civilian guards to the region.

He said the growth was Spain’s biggest in peacetime. However, he added that he knew it was “not enough” and recognized “serious problems and shortcomings”.
