The “Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027” Program includes the Act “Open program for the acquisition of professional/work experience for unemployed people aged 30 and over (30+), with an emphasis on groups abstaining from the labor market and groups that are particularly affected from unemployment”, of a total public expenditure of 220,000,000 euros, with a decision which signed by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis.

The action concerns the placement of unemployed people in private companies that carry out economic activity throughout the country for the acquisition of professional/work experience. Beneficiaries of the action are unemployed people, aged 30 and over, registered in the DYPA digital register, with an emphasis on the long-term unemployed (at least 24 months of registered unemployment), unemployed women, unemployed people affected by or at risk of poverty (Beneficiaries of Minimum Guaranteed Income) and middle-aged unemployed (45- 64 years old). The duration of the action is 6 months.

The participants in the program are paid by the DYPA a daily allowance of 32 euros, for 6 hours a day and a maximum of 22 days a month. The participants in the program, for the time of their participation in it, are subject to the insurance of the sickness branch in kind (medical coverage) of the e-EFKA and are insured for occupational risk. Providers of work experience placements (enterprises) are not compensated.

The action, which will remain open for applications until the budget is exhausted, is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the Beneficiary of the Program is the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
