The holiday home of the legendary Chanel creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, is now available for rent.

Accommodation, according to Mansion Global, costs at least 15,000 euros per night and reaches 45,000 euros per season in high demand.

Karl Lagerfeld, who died 2.5 years ago, had bought the 1988 cottage, just five years after starting his tenure at Chanel and then renovating it.

Built in 1902, in Belle Epoque style, the house has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two dressing rooms and a billiards room.

Outside, terrace 240 sq.m. offered for the enjoyment of the sun and the view of the Mediterranean Sea. Accommodation at the property includes a private tent on the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel’s private beach and access to the pool and restaurants, as well as an electric car so that the hotel’s many amenities are within easy reach.

Villa La Vigie is one of the most famous holiday homes on the French Riviera thanks to its history, architecture, exquisite décor and privileged location. In addition to being associated with Karl Lagerfeld, it is known for its occupation by German forces, who used it as an observatory during World War II, according to Edge Retreats, which owns the house for rent.
