The suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Luigi Maggione in Manhattan has been extradited from Pennsylvania to New York to stand trial there after waiving a preliminary hearing on the charges.
The 26-year-old Maggione – who for many is a “people’s hero”, due to the dissatisfaction of the Americans with the health system – arrived in New York by helicopter, while they were waiting to accompany him to the prison strong police forces, commandos and even the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams.
Maggione – wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and handcuffs – stepped down from the helicopter haughty and silent as the video went viral.
