Hamas has released a propaganda video showing signs of life from hostage Liri Albag, 19.

The three-and-a-half-minute video is undated, although Albag states it has been held for more than 450 days, indicating it was filmed recently.

Albag, along with six others, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7. One was rescued and the other was recovered dead after being murdered in captivity. The other five — Albag, Karina Arief, Agam Berger, Naama Levy and Daniela Gilboa — remain hostages.

Hamas has previously released similar videos of hostages being held by the terrorist group in what Israel says is deplorable psychological warfare.

Albag’s family is asking the media not to publish the video or images from it.

Most Israeli media do not broadcast the video clips released by Hamas unless the families specifically request it.

The announcement of the family

The Albag family authorizes the release of two still images taken from the Liri Albag hostage video released by Hamas.

The family had earlier requested that no media use the video or any images.

The video posted today broke our hearts,” the family says in a statement. “She is not the same daughter and sister we know».

It is not in good condition. Her difficult state of mind is evident“, the announcement states.

We saw the heroic Liri survive and beg for her life. She is only a few tens of kilometers away from us and for 456 days we have not been able to bring her homesays the family.

Appealing to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government, the family says: “It is time for you to decide as if your children were there.”

Liri is alive and must return alive. This is only up to yousays the family. “You shouldn’t miss this opportunity to bring them back. All of them».
