Video Released by IDF Shows Hamas Terrorist Admits to Integration at Kamal Adwan Hospital
A new video released by the IDF shows a Hamas terrorist admitting that Kamal Adwan Hospital was used to transport equipment and weapons to attack Israeli forces.
The IDF released new footage on Tuesday showing the interrogation of a Hamas terrorist captured at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
In his interrogation, al-Sharif described his role in Hamas and revealed how the organization uses the hospital as a base of operations.
Watch the video:
He revealed that the hospital premises were used to transport equipment and weapons to carry out attacks against Israeli forces.
21-year-old Al Sharif, who joined Hamas in 2021, is one of 240 terrorists arrested in the Hospital area.
“Weapons were carried in and out of the hospital for ambushes ,” he appears to say in the video, adding that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad believed the IDF would not target the hospital.
The Kamal Adwan Hospital raid
The December 29 operation was aimed at thwarting Hamas’ last attempt to regroup in northern Gaza, which was at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalya.
In the weeks leading up to the operation, the IDF already began clearing IEDs in the area of the hospital as well as most paths and potential escape routes to and from the hospital.
In addition, the IDF engaged in three to four targeted attacks on smaller Hamas cells near the hospital, but was careful to avoid attacking the hospital itself.
This was all part of an IDF strategy to lull Hamas terrorists hiding in the hospital into a false sense of security.
When the IDF finally attacked on Friday, it took only an hour to surround all routes to and from the hospital to lock down and block any escape attempts by the Hamas terrorists.
There was a brief battle between Hamas terrorists and IDF soldiers, but all terrorists were killed.
Two groups of terrorists also tried to escape in two different directions, but were also killed by IDF forces, who surrounded them.
