In the Church of the Church, the Vespers and Trisagus were held in the memory of the blessed Anastasios by the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos, who, out of the cathedral, spoke warmly about the blessed hierarch.
“The late Archbishop Anastasios has been a great ecclesiastical personality, which has greatly contributed to Orthodoxy in general and especially, here in the country of Albania, which we all know that from ash has highlighted the Church.”
The Patriarch of Jerusalem emphasized, inter alia, that Anastasios contributed to the promotion and rebuilding and restoration of the Orthodox Church, but contributed greatly to the development of the country because his spiritual and ecclesiastical work was extended to the social field and continued:
