UK Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace has revealed that he received a call today from someone pretending to be Ukrainian President Zelensky.
“He asked several misleading questions and after I was suspected I terminated the call,” Wallace wrote on Twitter.
He added that no degree of Russian misinformation, distortion and “dirty tricks” could distract attention from Russia’s human rights abuses and illegal invasion of Ukraine.
“A desperate attempt,” said the British Defense Secretary.
Earlier, Wallace announced that Britain would deploy the advanced Sky Saber anti-aircraft missile system in Poland, as well as 100 troops.
As it became known, the soldiers will remain in Poland for a period of three to six months.
Mr Wallace said he hoped the move would “send a message to the Kremlin not to question us for a second that we will stand together, defend our values ​​and defend our friends like Poland from any further aggression”. .
