The President of the Russian State Duma said today that the facts in Munich Conference Security shows that the European Union is incompetent, does not understand what is happening and is facing a crisis.
The US has shocked European leaders, saying that Ukraine’s position is not in NATO, that the return to pre -Ukrainian border pre -2014 is unrealistic and that Europe will not be at the table of peace negotiations with Russia and Ukraine.
In a post on the Telegram entitled “Hysteria in Munich”, Viacesslav Volondin, president of the Duma, of the Lower Parliament of the Russian Parliament, said the European political elite has only to accuse itself of this difficult situation.
“The collective institutions of the European Union, represented by their leaders, do not understand what is happening in the world, it has shown their inability and inadequacy.”said Volondin.
He said that European leaders reacted with discomfort with US Vice President Jay Di Vance, who launched an attack on European censorship governments, as he described it, of free expression and their political opponents.
