At least 34 people found death and dozens were injured because of tornadoes and severe storms that hit the central and southern part of United States, according to a new report. About 250,000 households were left without electricity On Saturday afternoon, the Poweroutage site said.

The Missouri Emergency Management Service said that the initial reports referred to 19 tornadoes who have hit 25 counties so far.

The tornadoes are formed when it rises wet, hot air and is mixed with cold air on top to form thunder. The winds that blow from different directions cause the air to rotate, creating an air vortex moving upwards.
