For analysts the Russian president may be satisfied with the outcome of his telephone conversation with his US counterpart

O President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putinrejected the American proposal for immediate and complete ceasefire in the war in Ukraine during his telephone communication with his American counterpart, Donald Trump. On the contrary, it agreed only to cease attacks on energy and critical infrastructures in both Ukraine and Russia for 30 days.
Firm thornthe term Moscow, as re -formulated in the Kremlin’s announcement: resolving the conflict must be “total, sustainable and long -term”, taking into account Russia’s own security interests and the deeper causes of war.
The two leaders’ phone call lasted about 90 minutes. In addition to the “mini” truce and infrastructure truce, the United States and Russia, according to the White House announcement, have also agreed to launch new negotiations in the Middle East for a Naval Truce Agreement in the Black Sea, achieving a complete ceasefire. At the same time, according to the Kremlin’s briefing, it was agreed to Russia and Ukraine to exchange captives, while … Trump and Putin even discussed the Russian president’s idea of organizing hockey races between the United States and Russia.
For analysts the Russian president may be satisfied with the outcome of his telephone conversation with his US counterpart. They may, explain, did not gain much – such as the satisfaction of his request for cessation of the provision of military aid and information from the West to Ukraine, but at least he lost nothing significant to Russia.
Moscow’s ‘red’ lines still remain intactwhile the Russian side saves time. It is not obliged to stop its land military operations and therefore maintains the advantage of recording additional territorial profits within Ukrainian territory.
In a post on his personal account on the Truth Social platform, Donald Trump spoke of a “very good and productive” conversation. “Much of the facts of an agreement on peace have been discussed,” he stressed, stressing that “both President Putin and President Zelenski” want to see the conflict in which “thousands of soldiers are killed to end”.
For the New York Times, the expectations of the President of the United States, who was aspiring to end the war in 24 hours, were not satisfied.
Although Washington’s statements had been preceded by the previous 24 hours that “the agreement on peace is close”, Donald Trump can only be enough, only to win, at least a partial truce and a new round of negotiations in the Middle East.
In his official briefing, the White House did not mention the agreement on the ceasefire plan for 30 days, which was achieved last week in Saudi Arabia between the United States and Ukraine. According to analysts, Kiev is not among the winners and it is not excluded that the Putin game is already perceived. Already in his first reaction, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said in principle in favor of the partial truce in energy and critical infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia, but called for more details from Washington and his US counterpart.
“I think it would be right to have a discussion with President Trump and find out the details of what the Russians offered to the Americans or what the Americans offered to the Russians offered,” he said, adding that the conditions set by Vladimir Putin are “not” targeted by Vladimir Putin.
And as we wait for the next phase of the ongoing talks to start in the Middle East, Moscow and Kiev during the night they re -hits.
