The Israeli Supreme Court will hear on April 8 to examine the appeals against the government’s ruling on the removal of Sin Beth’s head of the Internal Security Service, a spokesman for the Israeli courts told the French Agency.
According to the spokesman, three judges will participate in this hearing, of which the President of the Supreme Court Yitzak Amy.
Five appeals have been filed against the decision announced by the government, including the party of opposition leader Yair Lapid, who denounced a “decision taken by the blatant conflict of the prime minister”.

“The state of Israel is a rule of law and by law, the government decides who will be the head of Sin Beth,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his X platform account after justifying his decision to dismiss Bar, citing a “lack of confidence” between the two men.
Ronen Bar, whose dismissal has caused large demonstrations, assured that he would continue to “fulfill his mission” and defend himself before the “competent bodies”.
He is expected to deposit during the April 8 hearing.
The country’s prosecutor, Galli Baharav-one, who also has the role of the Government Legal Adviser, warned Netanyahu that the ruling of his Supreme Court “temporarily” forbids by a new Chief of Sin Beth.
