Israel has launched air raids on Hama Military Airport tonight and the Barza district of Damascus where it is located a Center for Scientific Research, according to Sana Syrian News Agency and local officials.

The Damascus Scientific Research Center had been bombed again by Israel after the overthrow of the Assad regime. According to Israel, the Center served the purposes of the rocket development program and chemical weapons.

Israel launched many air raids in Syria during the period of Bashar al -Assad’s regime, targeting military installations that, as he said, were linked to Iran, as well as weapons transfers from Tehran for the Lebanese organization.

Following the overthrow of Bashar al -Assad, Israel did not stop the blows against military installations in order not to fall the arsenal into the hands of the new authorities. Israeli diplomacy calls Syrian transitional president Ahmed al -Sarah “wolf with sheep” and has made it clear that he will not tolerate the presence of “Islamist fighters” in southern Syria.
