THE Donald Trump and his government is considering the possibility of ceasing from his duties to the US Federal Bank President Jerome Powellsaid the White House chief financial adviser today.

“The president and his team will continue to examine the issue of” Jerome Powell’s dismissal, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hasset told reporters, while Donald Trump reiterated his fourth -party attacks on Wednesday and Thursday.

Jerome Powell has been on the target of President Trump for several days because of his refusal to reduce Fed interest rates.

“I’m not happy with him. I have informed him and if I want to leave, he will leave quickly, believe me,” Donald Trump said yesterday.

The powers of the US president do not allow him to direct the Fed leaders directly. In order to cease Jerome Powell from his duties, the Republican billionaire will have to start a long process and prove that Powell committed a serious mistake.

Donald Trump has appointed Jerome Powell as head of the Fed during his first term in 2018, but now accuses him of politicizing the US Central Bank.

The Fed president warned Wednesday of the impact of the duties decided by the US president, which “will certainly lead to at least a temporary increase in inflation”.

Donald Trump significantly increased customs duties on products imported to the United States, imposing at least 10%duties.
