Specifically, on Tuesday (15/4), two Typhoon fighters took off from the Malbork Air Base in Poland to face a Russian Ilyushin IL-20M “Coot-A” aircraft. Two days later, on Thursday, April 17, two more Typhoon intervened in stopping an unknown aircraft in which he took off from the Kalingrad area and moved near NATO’s interior.
The two businesses are RAF’s first operational actions under Chessman and come after the recent British forces development in Eastern Poland. According to the proclamation, this move is part of the broader British government’s strategy to strengthen the deterrent power, under the prime minister’s commitment to increase defense spending to 2.5% of GDP.

“The United Kingdom is steadfast in its commitment to NATO. With Russian aggression, we do not intensify efforts to protect our national security and strengthen our allies. This mission proves our ability to try with our partners and to defend the interior of the alliance where and not needed. “
