“A completely unnecessary and heartless conflict committed in a brotherly frenzy,” the Archbishop of America described the war in Ukraine in the context of his speech at the Joint Meeting of the United States of the United States.

The meeting took place at the Church of St. Nicholas at the scene of New York, that is, the US national pilgrimage.

Archbishop Elpidoforos emphasized that “the US constitution of religious freedoms is particularly blessed” and that it is “particularly important to freely exercise the worship of Christian doctrines, which is not considered for granted worldwide, either because of the conflict of cultures or because of the conflict of cultures.”

In addition, the Archbishop of America pointed out the importance of the meeting immediately after the Easter period and described it as “an opportunity for everyone to share and create even greater bonds of friendship and understanding, as all our overseas communities look forward to us, our brothers and siblings.”

And he continued: “The death of Pope Francis teaches us something about the moment we are, that is, while the Roman Catholic Church is based on its unified executive, the supreme modifika, to control all the different, even the opposing views of the Orthodox and the Orthodox.

“Today,” he concluded, “we send a message to our mothers churches and to the whole of the home that we defend their rights and freedoms, even in the face of wars, conflicts of all kinds and persecution.”
