The Israeli army hit a building on Sunday in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to live shots, almost an hour after it had issued an evacuation order to the locals.

The attack was followed by a warning to residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut, issued by Arabic IDF spokesman, Colonel Avihai Andrai.

To all those in the building marked red on the map, as well as in neighboring buildings: you are close to facilities belonging to Hezbollah, the IDF spokesman said.

The announcement calls on citizens to remove at least 300 meters from the building for their own safety.

This is just the second time that the Israeli army has been warning before being hit in Beirut since the start of the truce with Lebanon.
