The United States today congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the victory of the Liberals after a pre -election campaign dominated by President Donald Trump’s threats.

“The United States is congratulating Prime Minister Mark Carney and its party for their victory in the recent federal elections in Canada,” State Department spokesman Tami Bruce told reporters.

Liberal Prime Minister Mark Carney has won the parliamentary elections in Canada, promising that he will beat the United States in the trade war that Donald Trump launched and that he will never forget the American “treason”.
