Trump government officials appear willing to delay the issue of Hamas’s disarmament until a ceasefire is reached, while considering the expulsion of thousands of Palestinian fighters from Gaza, according to Arabic media.

In particular, a report by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed on Friday said Trump government officials allegedly expressed their willingness to accept the delay in Hamas’s disarmament until a ceasefire agreement.

The same Egyptian source said that US officials consider the proposal to expulsion for thousands of Palestinian fighters from Gaza, due to the reluctance of potential reception countries and the large number of people proposed by Israel ranging between 3,000 and 5,000.

According to the report, US negotiators have expressed these positions in their recent talks with Egyptian mediators.

Instead of insisting on Hamas’ immediate disarmament, the American side is said to be open to the possibility of this issue at a later stage of the process of implementing the agreement.

The same source also noted that US officials consider the deportation of military leaders or Fighters of Hamas from Gaza.

In return for flexibility at the above points, the American side allegedly emphasized its commitment to liberating all Israeli hostages that are still being held in Gaza, as well as recovering the bodies of those who have died in captivity.

Arab media report that internal discussions within the Trump government have led to the re -evaluation of the effectiveness of Israel’s current strategy.

Information allegedly forwarded to US officials shows that new Israeli businesses, which began in mid -March, have increased the risks to the rest of the hostages.

According to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, there is optimism among mediators to reach a wider agreement.

The Egyptian source mentioned Hamas’ proclaimed intention to release all hostages at the same time, as well as possible flexibility in weapons management issues and post -truce staff.
