Speaking to reporters yesterday, Monday, during a visit to southeastern Turkey, Bayraktar said Turkey wants to “put a name” this year in the programs for the extra stations it is planning.

“Russia, South Korea and China are interested in the second and third nuclear station. But in addition, there are also other countries and companies with which we negotiate, “he said.

Rosatom, Russia’s state -owned nuclear power company, is constructing Turkey’s first nuclear power plant in Akouyu, in Mersina’s province on the Mediterranean coast, under a $ 20 billion agreement concluded in 2010.
