Kiev delivered to Moscow a list of names 1,000 prisoners of war, In the context of preparing the forthcoming prisoner of war, a Ukrainian military intelligence official announced to Reuters.

The agreement to make such an exchange had been reached on May 16 in Istanbul during the first direct talks between Russia and Ukraine for more than three years.

The Kremlin announced today Thursday that it has received from Ukraine a list of the names of 1,000 prisoners of war that Kiev wants to release the greatest exchange of its kind, the Russian News Agency reported.

Interfax conveyed earlier today that Moscow had submitted to Kyiv her own directory with 1,000 names of Russian prisoners of war.

The exact date and form of the exchange, which was agreed during immediate Ukraine-Russia talks in Istanbul last week, has not yet been determined.
