With a series of deadly bumps against military and nuclear targets in Iran, Israel has murdered several senior armed forces and the body of the Revolutionary Guards, as well as scientists specializing in the nuclear sector.

General Mohammad Bageri, leader of the Iranian Armed Forces General Staff since 2016, worked directly under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, having the latest say in decision -making in Iran and leader.

Born in June 1960, Bageri was the most high -ranking Iranian official: he had power at the same time over the National Army, the Security Forces and, in particular, on the Guards of the Revolution, the strong ideological army of the Islamic Republic.

He often appeared in television uniforms, mainly to inaugurate underground military bases and played an important role in the development of the Iranian ballistic program.

Born in 1960, a fighter in the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988), Salami joined the Guards of the Revolution at the beginning of the conflict. In this select body, most of his career passed.

Salamis was subject to US sanctions, second in the hierarchy of the guards for nine years, was appointed head in 2019. This strategic role given by a national security council, led by President Massoud Pezkian.

The functioning of this body is to refer directly to the Supreme Leader on Military Issues, Safety and Foreign Policy.

The guards, the Army Corps, founded in 1979 shortly after the Islamic Revolution, have, according to the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS), about 125,000 members serving under the direct supervision of the Supreme Leader. There is no official evidence of their strengths.

Unlike the National Army, the primary role of the guards is not to ensure the protection of Iranian territory, but to protect “the revolution and its achievements”, according to the Constitution.

Born in 1961 in Tehran, Amirali Hadjizanteh was led by the Aerospatial Force of the Revolution Guards since its founding in 2009.

It was the brain of two attacks that launched Iran last year against Israeli territory. The supreme leader had made him up to this opportunity.

Amirali Hadjizadeh became known in 2023, stating that Iran was still seeking to “kill” US officials, mainly Donald Trump.
