As Midnight Hammer was ongoing yesterday, a flock of B-2 bombers took off from their base in Missouri heading to Guam’s island in the Pacific.
Experts and pension halls worldwide have seen in this event a preparatory movement of promoted development of US bombers in the face of a future Washington decision to attack Iran.
But this move was just a distraction. Another flock of seven Stealth B-2 bombers was already flying east for 18 hours without being detected, maintaining communications in the minimum, with air supply, the US military revealed today, according to Reuters.
As the bombers approached the Iranian airspace, an American submarine fired more than two dozens of sea-marine-earth Cruise Tomahawk missiles. American pursuits were flying in front of the bombers to “scan” any Iranian pursuits and missiles.
The attack on Iran’s three basic nuclear facilities was the largest operational blow ever made by B-2 bombers and the second B-2 longest flight operation after the operations that followed the attacks of September 11, 2001.
The B-2s dropped 14 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators against Iranian nuclear facilities. A total of 125 warplanes participated in the operation, according to the Pentagon.
