Two members of the London Police committed a serious misconduct by undergoing a full physical examination of a 15 -year -old teenager in 2020, today a disciplinary body was ruled in a case that caused a lounge in the United Kingdom.

A black teenage girl was submitted to her school’s physical control in her school’s office.

Two police officers carried out the search, without the presence of a third adult and the child had a period.

As she was unjustly accused of hiding cannabis, the girl suffered a serious mental trauma from this case.

The incident had triggered demonstrations in the London district of Hakney, known for its multicultural population.

Physical inspection was “disproportionate”, “unnecessary” and “humiliating” for the teenage girl, said Jason Pinas, the chairman of the Disciplinary Scripture Committee.

The two police officers, who decided to investigate, a man and a woman, committed a serious offense, the committee concluded at the end of the hearing.

Another police officer, who did the physical check with her colleague, showed professional negligence.

The sentences will be later announced to members of the Metropolitan Police. Could reach the dismissal.

“At the heart of this case there was a child, in a vulnerable position, which police officers did not protect and unjustifiably submitted a complete physical control,” the Amanda Rowel Home Affairs Director reported.

“We know that this incident had a serious and constant impact on its well -being,” he said.

Just last year, the British childhood commissioner warned of the physical checks that minors were submitted by the police, often judging them “unnecessary”.

The target of these controls was four times the number of black children compared to the rest of the population, he also said.
