New season, new episodes for the parliamentary confrontation between Adonis Georgiadis and Pavlos Polakis, on the occasion of their legal dispute that ended in an exchange of fire for “Frape” and OPEKEPE.

It all started when, during the meeting of the Social Affairs Committee, the Minister of Health challenged Pavlos Polakis not to ask for a postponement of their legal dispute again and to appear in court. The following dialogue is typical:

GEORGIADIS: And something by the way. Don’t get court adjournment again. to appear. Go calmly, civilly to court, defend yourself, say whatever you want.

POLAKIS: If my lawyer has another case and he doesn’t manage to postpone it, I will get another postponement and I will do it in a month and a half. I’m not afraid

GEORGIADIS: Again, your lawyer can’t? And at the court with Poulis he had work again.

POLAKIS: What should we do? He has many affairs.

GEORGIADIS Well, then change him!

POLAKIS: No, I’m not changing him. I want him!

GEORGIADIS: To me, again, this all seems like an announcement of a postponement!

A little later, however, a second, more intense dialogue followed, with the focus of the controversy shifting to the case of OPEKEPE and Giorgos Xylouris (s.s. Frapes):

GEORGIADIS: “Frapes” is Cretan. I am Macedonian.

POLAKIS: A friend of Avgenakis is the “frappes”. Of Eugenakis!

AD.GEORGIADES: Not only. And Androulakis too

(voices)

ATTORNEY GEORGIADIS: And the case of Karla by Androulakis’ partner was done. Don’t we know them? Should the MP of Chania tell us that he does not know about the subsidies? I’m convinced now.
