The story of a 27 -year -old father in Texas is shocked, who lost his life trying to save his family from the deadly floods that hit the state. Julian Ryan was fatally injured by breaking a window to unleash his own.

The incident occurred on Friday morning in the city of Ingram, when the waters of the Guadalupe River was flooding the area.

Ryan, his mother, his fiancee Christine Wilson and their two children – 6 years old and 13 months old – were in their caravan bedroom when they woke up at 4am, realizing what was going on.

“The water began to get into force and we were struggling to close the door so we would not flood,” Wilson said in a local media.

The door finally retreated and the water flooded the room.

Ryan, in a desperate attempt to save his family, punched the window, seriously injuring his hand.
