Russian intelligence agents who were suspected of assassinating SBU’s Ukrainian Secret Service Agent in Kiev last week, were killed today in the Kiev area during an operation to arrest them.

In a post in the Telegram messaging application, SBU announced that agents of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) – a man and a woman – was behind the murder of Colonel Ivan Vronic on July 10 in Kiev and that she was trying to raise them today.

The alleged Russian agents were killed during an exchange of shots at a SBU special operation on July 13 in the Kiev region.

SBU also posted videos from the business.

After killing the Colonel of the Ukrainian Security Service, the perpetrators tried to hide, but SBU and police officers found them in the Kiev region, according to the statement.

“I would like to remind you that the only perspective of the enemy on Ukraine’s territory is death,” said SBU chief Lieutenant General Vasil Maliuk.
