Unicef: Children victims of the Russian war – More than 100 dead and 2 million in exile

The data on children who have fallen victim to Russian bombings throughout Ukraine cause sensation and disgust.

According to data released by Unicefthe largest percentage of the Ukrainian population that has been decisively affected by the Russian invasion, are minors, while the number of children who have been affected in terms of living conditions in cities that are besieged for many days has not been recorded.

According to the organization, more than 100 children have lost their lives from the bombing of Russian troops, while almost two million are displaced along with their families. In addition to the children killed, at least 130 others were injured, some of them in critical condition.

Most of the displaced children in other countries moved to Poland, which hosts more than 1.1 million children from Ukraine, and their number is growing daily. A large number of children have moved, along with their families, in Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

In total, more than two million children have left Ukraine while more than 2.5 million have moved to other areasinside the territory, in order to get away from the bombings of the Russian forces and the battlefields.
