New rallies were held on Sunday night in Britain, specifically outside an Essex hotel, which is believed to be hosting asylum seekers, with police making six arrests.

The protesters, some of whom seemed to consume alcohol, shouted “send them home” and “save our children” as they were throwing bottles and flares to the van police who blocked the entrance of the Bell Hotel in Eking on Sunday night.

Officers had stated that they would “vigorously face” criminal behavior, as hundreds of people were involved in a new protest at the hotel, where violent clashes took place last week.

“Unfortunately, we have seen another protest, which began peacefully, escalating to unnecessary violence, with people once again injuring one of our police officers and causing damage to a police vehicle,” said Commander -in -Chief Simon Anslou.

Eight police officers were injured on Thursday night.

Early in the afternoon, a 33 -year -old was prosecuted for involvement in violent riots after participating in a similar rally.
