Its chairman South Africa Siril Ramafa today abducted the Minister of Higher Education, which was demanded by the country’s second largest party and a member of the National Unity Government.

With the removal of Nomupuhle Enshabane, the president satisfied the request of the Democratic Alliance (DA), his main partner in the government coalition that has been hit by internal disputes from the very first months of his constitution.

“President Siril Ramafosa fades Dr. Endamane and appoints a new minister,” said the South African presidency.

The African National Congress (ANC), which is in power after the end of apartheid and the first democratic elections in South Africa (1994), failed for the first time last year to secure the absolute majority and was forced to form a national unity government with the participation of ten parties.

At the beginning of the month, the Democratic Alliance (DA) accused the Minister Erbaban of lying to parliament in order to appoint “fraudulently” persons linked to the ANC to board Boards of educational institutions. He has also accused the corruption of Housing Minister Thebi Simelne, who remains in place.

On July 13, President Ramafa raised the Minister of Public Order Senzo Moukounou, who faces charges of corruption and interconnections with organized crime. He also called for the establishment of an Inquiry Committee to investigate possible interconnections and other leading officials, “now and former”, with organized crime.
