Seventeen and a half thousand Russian soldiers have lost their lives after the invasion of Ukraine, according to a new update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian armyIn the 37 days of the so-called “special operation” in Moscow, 614 tanks, 1,735 armored vehicles, 135 aircraft and 131 helicopters, 54 anti-missile systems and seven vessels were destroyed.

Russian forces shot down their own fighter jet in Ukraine, as Vladimir Putin’s “personal war” is hampered by arms shortages, soldiers refusing to obey orders and sabotaging their own equipment, Sir Jeremy Fleming, head of the British intelligence service, said on Wednesday.

According to the State Department, Putin made a strategic mistake by overestimating his army’s ability to win a quick victory in the war against Ukraine with his advisers afraid to tell him the truth.

Signs of withdrawal of Russian troops from Chernihiv and Chernobyl in northern Ukraine are reported by Western media and Washington. It is noted that Ukraine and Russia will continue their peace talks digitally on Friday, as a senior Ukrainian official said yesterday, after the end of the negotiations in Turkey.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on Wednesday that Ukrainian forces are regaining control, also in the southeastern regions of Orlov and Zakhradivka.
