Terror prevailed in a flight from London to Scotland when a passenger shouted he had a bomb. The perpetrator was then immobilized by other passengers. As the perpetrator said, he did it to send a message to Trump. The plane eventually landed in Glasgow where the man was arrested.
It is noted that the other passengers kept the man immobilized during the forced landing. According to The Sun, about six police officers handcuffed him and removed him from the aircraft, with panicked passengers watching bewildered.
As it sounds in the relevant video of the incident, the perpetrator specifically says: “I wanted to send a message to Trump … It’s in Scotland.” It is noted that the US president pays a private visit to the country and appeared playing golf on the weekend.
One witness said he suddenly woke up around 8am, less than an hour after taking off, when the man came out of the toilets on the back of the plane causing disruption. The passenger – who spoke to Sun on the condition of anonymity – said: “He literally came out of the toilet shouting” Allah Akbar “with his hands over his head. “Then he said,” I have a bomb, I have a bomb, “at this point the passengers were confused. “I thought it was joking, it’s a strange joke.”
The 39 -year -old, who traveled to Scotland for his father’s birthday, continued to say: “He pushed the airline staff and was aggressive against them. He was a big man, about 1.80 m, while they were petty women. When he pushed them, then things changed. At that point, one guy managed to grab him from behind and throw him down, and then everyone rushed to him. ” He described how three passengers stopped the man, adding: “I was there, I couldn’t do much, so I thought about filming it.”
The plane staff checked the man’s bag and “realized that there was no bomb,” said the agency’s source.
“The pilot announced that he would launch and landed the plane very quickly,” he continued. “Some of the passengers cried because they were troubled. It was a bit surreal, “he added.
He also said that they managed to get the man’s wallet out of his pocket and that he seemed to be an Indian national, and said he had a refugee card.
He also said that the passengers were afraid that the airplane should land elsewhere, but eventually landed in Glasgow, the original flight destination.
A Scottish police spokesman said: “We received a report of a man who caused a disruption to a flight that arrived in Glasgow around 8:20am. On Sunday, July 27, 2025. A 41 -year -old man was arrested and investigations are ongoing. “
An Easyjet spokesman said: “The Ezy609 flight from Luton to Glasgow this morning welcomed the police on arrival in Glasgow, where they boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger because of his behavior in flight. The Easyjet crew is trained to evaluate all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that flight safety and other passengers is in no way at stake.
