North Korea today described South Korea Lee Lee Jungi president, commenting on his statements about the Nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula during a visit to Washington.
Mr Lee estimated Monday that Seoul’s alliance with Washington would be “strengthened” if it was “a road to nuclearization, peace and coexistence in the Korean peninsula”.
After taking up his duties in June, the South Korean president says he is looking for a way to improve relationships with North Korea, a nuclear arsenal country.
But in his recent statements, South Korean president, who “pretends to want to restore relations”, revealed his “true” nature, his “obsession” in the “showdown” and how “hypocrite” he is, he says comment by KCNA’s pension.
“Lee’s reference to ‘nuclear’ is nothing more than a naive dream, as if someone is trying to catch a cloud flying in the sky,” the agency added.
Following the failure of the summit with the US in 2019, North Korea has said that it will never “never” abandon its nuclear arsenal and is self -proclaimed “irrevocably” nuclear power.
During his meeting with Donald Trump at the White House yesterday, Mr Lee asked the US President, who often boasts about his good personal relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, to take the initiative to have peace between Seoul and Paul.
The tycoon, who had met three times with North Korean leader Kim during his first term, said for his part that he hoped to meet him again, probably this year.
Technically, North and South Korea remain in war, as the Korean war (1950-53) was terminated with simple truce, no peace agreement was ever signed.
