Prince Hissachito, Japan, took place on Saturday 19th and his adulthood – applying the traditional ritual – brought relief to the imperial family.

The young prince is the first blue -eyed to adulthood for 40 years. Hissachito is second in a row for the throne of Chrysanthemum and is likely to become an emperor one day.

After him, however, no one is left, leaving the imperial family with a dilemma of whether a 19th -century decision that forbids women from inheriting the throne.

Why can be the last emperor of Japan

Hissachito was born on September 6, 2006 and is the monk of Prince successor Akisino, successor to the throne, and his wife, Princess Kiko.

Hissakito is a nephew of Emperor Naruhito, and Father Akisino, the younger brother of the Emperor, was the last man to reach the imperial family in 1985.

The extremely popular princess Aiko, the soloist of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, cannot be her father’s successor, although supported by much of the public as a future monarch.

Hissakito is the youngest of the 16 -member adult imperial family. He and his father are the only two men heirs who are younger than Naruhito.

Prince Hitaci, the younger brother of the former Emperor Akihito, is third in the succession of the throne, but is already 89 years old.

The lack of successors is a serious concern for the monarchy, which, according to historians, has been lasting for 1,500 years.

Although the emperor in Japan has an honorary role and not essential, he is still widely accepted by the people, because the monarchy is considered part of the Japanese tradition.

HISAHANT

19 -year -old Hissachito has two older sisters, the popular princess Kako and former princess Mako, whose marriage with a common mortal forced her to abandon her royal property.

The first year at Tsukuba University near Tokyo, the young prince studies biology and likes to play Badminton.

He is particularly dedicated to the … dragonflies and has co-authored an academic work on insect research on Akasaka Estate in Tokyo.

At his first press conference in March, the prince said he hoped to focus his studies on dragonflies and other insects, including ways of protecting insect populations in urban areas.
