Another person lost his life during today’s conflict, raising the total number of dead to 22, 19 of whom were killed on Monday.
According to Civil Service Hospital director Dipak Paudel, 209 injured were admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, with 186 already being discharged.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Kanga Prasad Olli resigned, at the expense of continuing mobilizations.
At the same time, Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport has been closed, according to announcements in the arrival and departures table of its official website.
The situation in the capital remains extremely tense, with authorities closely monitoring the escalation of demonstrations.
Nepal’s army addressed a message to the country’s youth, calling for restraint and stopping violent actions, and announced that it would address the nation later tonight.
