The “conditions of Abraham” are a series of diplomatic agreements signed on September 15, 2020 between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.

These talks were attended by Trump’s adviser and bridegroom, US ambassador to Israel David Friedman, and Special Envoy for the Middle East Avi Berkovic, as well as Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo and Mike Pompeo.

In a joint statement issued by the three countries, it was emphasized that their leaders agreed “to complete relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates”.

“Historical diplomatic evolution will promote peace in the Middle East area and it is a proof of the diplomacy and vision of the three leaders and the courage of the UAE and Israel to chart a new course that will unlock the great potential of the region,” the text still said.

The statement notes that “as a result of this diplomatic progress and at the request of President Trump, with the support of the UAE, Israel will suspend” the attachment of areas of the West Bank, as provided for in the Middle East peace plan presented by the US president.

“Israel, in the near future, will focus on forging this relationship and the advantages that may come from this new relationship with this country and also (we believe) that it is breaking the ice so that there are more normalizations (diplomatic relations) and peacekeeping agreements with others.”
