Violin that once belonged to one of the most famous scientists in the world expected to be sold up to 300,000 English pounds At auction organized at Globersir in England next month.
The 1894 musical instrument is one of many objects that once belonged to Albert Einstein and are about to get out of the hammer from the auction house Dominic Winter in South Serney on October 8th.
They also sold a bike saddle and a philosophy book that Einstein gave to a friend in 1932.
Historical souvenirs expert Chris Alburi told the BBC that he was excited about selling “extremely historical objects”.
The Zunterer violin is believed to be the first thing Einstein bought himself.
All the items presented at the auction were given to his good friend and colleague of the natural Max von Laue in late 1932.
Shortly afterwards, Einstein fled to America to escape the rise of anti -Semitism and Nazism in Germany.
Twenty years later, Max von Laue donated them to a well -known and Einstein admirer, Margarete Homrich and now her grandchild is for sale.
Another violin that once belonged to Einstein, who was given as a gift when he arrived in the US in 1933, was sold at auction of $ 516,500 (£ 370,000) in New York in 2018.
