The US has asked the Turkish construction company Drones to open a unit on US territory, according to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who stressed that the problem with the sanctions imposed by the Caatsa law should be resolved.
As the Turkish Foreign Minister said, the US House has blocked the export of engines to be used for the Turkish fifth generation of KANA.

“One of our problems is the issue of Caatsa sanctions, which appeared after 2019. The issue of Caatsa is a problem for us, it is a systemic problem that prevents the sale of defense systems between two allies.
For example, it is the F-35s, we are waiting for the fighter caterpillar engines, this license is stuck in the Congress. The license must be granted, the engines come and the production of Kaan start.
It is a technical problem, but systematically, when there are restrictions on our relationships with the US, it does not want it to lead us to different searches in the international system.
