One person died after a large tornado hit the area Val d’Oasis, north of Paris, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced on Monday.
The French minister said he was closely monitoring the situation, adding that there had been and many wounded as a result of the tornado. Buildings in the area have also been damaged.
